General Education Courses


Below is a list of courses that may be used to meet specific general education requirements for various programs offered by TCC. Each program has unique requirements.

Note: To satisfy the requirement of State Board of Education Rule 6A-10.030, students must earn a grade of “C” or better in any Communications course used to fulfill the general education requirement and must produce multiple writing assignments in each of the courses.


2. Humanities

A. Humanities of the World

B. Humanities Abroad

C. Other

Note: Students must produce multiple writing assignments and earn a grade of C or better in any Humanities general education course used to satisfy the writing requirement of State Board of Education Rule 6A-10.030.


3. Mathematics

Note: To satisfy the requirement of State Board of Education Rule 6A-10.030, students must earn a grade of “C” or better in any Mathematics course used to fulfill the general education requirement.

 A. History
