This course provides basic electrical knowledge to analyze direct current (DC) circuits. Topics include current and voltage, resistance, Ohm’s Law, power, energy, series and parallel circuits, methods of analysis, network theorems and capacitors, identification of components, measuring voltage and current of circuits constructed in the lab, and the use of test instruments and power supplies. Contact: 3 hours. Does not count toward A.A. degree.
