Prerequisite(s): satisfactory completion of Developmental Writing II (ENC0025 ) and Developmental Reading II (REA0017 ), or appropriate placement scores.
A survey of the major regions of the world and their component areas. An examination of the principal physical, biotic, and cultural elements in these places leads to an appreciation of the diverse environments and the common problems that exist in the world. (Global Gateway Program ) Lecture: 3 hours. Substantial writing component. Fulfills state writing requirement.
