Focuses on therapeutic and diagnostic instruments encountered in respiratory care practice. These include pulse oximetry, capnography, blood gas machine, cooximeter, ECG interpretation, hyperbaric oxygen therapy and noninvasive cardiac output system. Case studies and simulations are used to incorporate the critical thinking process. Contact: 1 hour per week. Does not count toward A.A. degree.
