RTE1814 Radiographic Clinical Education II1 credit hour(s) | Summer
Prerequisite(s): satisfactory completion of RTE1000 , RTE1418 , RTE1503 , RTE1503L , RTE1804 .
Corequisite(s): RTE1513 , RTE1513L .
Students will apply positioning skills as in previous practicum courses. Topics include positioning of upper and lower extremities for competencies. Intermediate-level patient care procedures, radiation protection practices, radiologic exposure principles and the use of radiographic accessories are introduced. Students must achieve a grade of at least 75% in this course to advance in the program. Contact: 120 hours per semester. Additional fee. Does not count toward A.A. degree.
