Prerequisite(s): satisfactory completion of RTE1458 , RTE1458L , RTE1613 , RTE1824 .
Corequisite(s): RTE2385 , RTE2523 , RTE2523L , RTE2834 .
This course introduces the disease processes most frequently encountered in the radiology department. The etiology, pathogenesis, treatment and resolution of each disease are discussed, with an attempt to relate recent advances in these areas. Emphasis is placed on radiologic diagnosis and the relationship of the radiographic appearance of the disease to its anatomic, physiologic and pathologic characteristics. Students must achieve a grade of at least 75% in this course to advance in the program. Contact: 2 hours per week. Does not count toward A.A. degree.
