Criminal Justice Technology, A.S. (2138)


This program was changed significantly beginning in the Spring semester of the 2012-2013 academic year.

Program Purpose:
To prepare students for employment in law enforcement or corrections and to meet the needs of persons employed in those fields who want to advance in their professions.

Employment Types:
Law Enforcement Officer, Correctional Officer, Juvenile Justice Officer, Public or Private Security Guard, or Detective

Program Length:
64 credit hours

Admission Requirements:
A high school diploma or GED diploma and meet the required minimum scores on the Florida Postsecondary Education Readiness Test, SAT or ACT (or complete the necessary developmental courses)
