MLT1401C Medical Microbiology6 credit hour(s) Prerequisite(s): MCB2004 and MCB2004L This course presents students with principles and methods used in clinical microbiology including taxonomy, isolation, identification, clinical relevance, and antibiotic susceptibility testing of pathogenic bacteria. Students will also receive an introduction to medical parasitology, mycology, and virology. This course requires a grade of C or higher. This course requires a lab fee. Contact: 6 hours.
