Prerequisite(s): Appropriate placement score or satisfactory completion of REA0007 .
Assists students in developing reading skills and strategies that are essential for literal and critical comprehension of ideas expressed in writing. Emphasizes effective strategies for college-level reading through classroom instruction. Students must pass this course with a C or better before enrolling in ENC1101 .
Contact: 4 hours, including 1 lab hour. Institutional credit only. Does not carry degree credit. Does not count toward A.A. degree.
