This is an introductory course on the background, critical elements, principles and future of distributed electric power generation and storage. The course explores the various types of energy storage systems. Topics include the electrical power industry, storage and delivery in other energy markets, electricity storage and delivery technologies, applications, renewable energy storage and delivery, and micro grids. Contact: 3 hours. Does not count toward A.A. degree.
