Network Systems Technology, A.S. (2165)


Program Purpose:

To prepare students for entry-level positions in computer networking-related fields. Employment types include network administrator, network manager, network designer, network installer, network troubleshooter, inter/intranet worker.

Program Length:

60 credit hours

Admission Requirements:

Admission requirements for TPP programs are the same as admission to the College: standard high school diploma or GED diploma. Most TPP program courses require students to be College-ready, which means the student must have appropriate placement scores, complete any needed developmental education or meet the requirements for a documented exemption.

To satisfy State Board of Education Rule 6A-10.030, students must earn a grade of “C” or better in any Communications, Humanities, History/Social Science or Mathematics course used to fulfill general education requirements.
