This course provides the student with the knowledge and skills to care for patients on the wellness-illness continuum during pregnancy from conception through labor and delivery and the post-partum periods, as well as children from birth through adolescence. The nursing process provides a framework for planning care for patients on the wellness-illness continuum. Lecture: 67.5 hours.
